GemProperties knows that every business is unique and as such, there is no one size fits all for businesses. As such we offer customized solutions to our customers. Our rates will therefore vary based on a few parameters.
Billing Parameters

Daily Rates are used for routine low-skilled tasks. A basic rate applies, plus
overtime rates may be changed in some instances. - Labour Rates apply to tasks that require skilled labour, and will vary based on the
complexity of the task. It is normally our practice to provide a quotation only after
having done an assessment of the task, the required skills and the time needed.
- Size of the building/ area – The size and scope of the task will determine the rates
charged. Large projects require greater man power typically cost more, although
volume discounts do apply. As well, tasks that require greater skills typically
attract higher labour rates.
- Cost of suppliers/ Materials - The amount of supplies or materials that will be used in the execution of any job or in the management of a longer term (one month+) contact with depend on the work that needs to be done and the frequency it will be repeated. A site assessment is therefore necessary before the issuance of a proposal or quotation.
- Uses of specialized equipment - Different services require different tools/equipment to effectively and efficiently executive the job given. The running of this equipment may require either energy, specific parts or certain consumable supplies. A site assessment may be required to determine the types of equipment required as well as other factors that may affect the quotation. This must be done before a quotation is issued.
- Administration Costs: Many tasks require administrative support which is also factored into the overall cost.
